Our opinion
Zenmed products are not as well known as some of the major brands they have have a major acne kit. The system includes four products all of which are generous in size (the cleanser is 6oz where most similar systems are 4oz or less). The ingredients list for each product is impressive. We love the way they formular mostly natural ingredients. Not everything is 100% natural, their acne gel contains saliclic acid (very common acne fighter) as one of it’s acne fighting ingredients, but they also include some really ncie ingredients like Witch Hazel Distillate. Some of their products are preservative free and some are 100% organic. Although the price for the system is not cheep usually about 100 dollars the ingredients and the quantities are good.

This is a 4-step system for treating acne.
Step 1-suppress excessive oil production.

Our opinion
Well Philosophy may be endorsed by some important people “See company description above” after reviewing what they put into some of their products it is not a clear winner to us. For example in their cleanser for the main cleansing ingredient they are using sodium lauryl sulfate, not one of the better foaming ingredients that can be used in a soap. The packaging and names are GREAT, but we are not over the moon because of what is in that packaging.

Our opinion
MD Formulations generally makes good products. The price for this system is very affordable, we are assuming they are trying to compete with some of the major competitors like Proactiv. The kit appears to be a nice mix of cleanser, acne gel moisturizer and sun screen which is a good way to bundle acne products together. We looked at the list of ingredients contained in the individual products list and it was not good. For example the acne gel contains SD Alcohol 40 B, we are assuming it is listed as one of the major ingredients to dry your skin out, but in our opinion treating acne means balancing oil levels on your skin not drying and irritating your skin.
