When i first start using Proactive it did work as far as clearing up my blemishes. However it dries your skin. And the customer service sucks. I have to wait months at a time to recieve my product. When by the time i recieve my shipment my face is breaking out again. Im paying $45 and they charge me a month a head for a shipment i havent recieved. To be paying that kind of money the product is not as good as the advertisement.

I saw results almost immediately when using Proactiv, but 5 months later my face started breaking out again. My skin is definitely better than it was, but never completely clear.

It also started a lot of fine lines around my eyes, and I’m only 22! The oil control stuff doesn’t work either.

I think this product is for people with really MILD acne. Not only that, it gets so expensive b/c you go through the products SOOO quickly. I replace my kit for about $50 twice a month! I hate that.

I don’t know the amount Jessica Simpson charges to advertise for this piece of sh*t, which is a complete waste of money. I wonder if she has ever used proactiv. It’s better to leave your acne untreated than to use proactiv. I had a three weeks nightmare with this product with more breakouts and skin drying up.

i bought proactiv acne 3 steps system around 19 dollar,it worked perfectly for me in starting week and then it started drying my skin,so that i could peel off skin from my face.then immediately i stopped its use, i was started looking horrible with that skin.

Although Proactiv wasn’t upto the mark when I used it but still I won’t say that its bad. There could be many other factors that didn’t allow proactiv’s acne system to work for me.

It’s the worst acne treatment that I had been recommended by someone who only heard about it but had never used it. My acne got more bad after using it with breakouts almost every where on my face. I won’t at all recommend it for acne sufferers.

Proactiv worked well for me in clearing moderate acne that I had. I didn’t encounter some side-effects for the first two weeks, but it did clear my acne completely. A bad point about proactiv is that is dried out my skin terribly.

I will not buy this product again, it did not work for me.
I have severe acne, and nothing has worked.
