Our opinion
This is a good system. The products ingredient list reads a lot better then most similar ones. Although Kinerase specialized in ati-aging products this kit has some great points to it. The one thing missing is value for your dollar, the product sizes are small and the price is not, for this kit the averate price is somewhere around $90.00 and you will run though this system very quickly, so if money is not a consideration this will work.

Our opinion
If the choice is between Murad and some of the other TV commercial acne products choose Murad. They obviously have the right person doing some of their formulating because they use some nice ingredients for treating acne for example they use both Glycolic Acid and Aloe Barbadensis Leaf in their acne gel as well as a long list of good ingredients.

Proactiv is the best known acne treatment kit on the market. A lot of people trust it to manage their acne. The reviews are mixed from customers, some people swear by it while others do not like the way it makes their skin feel. The main acne fighting agent in Proactiv’s system in Benzoyl peroxide which is proven effective but can dry out your skin or irritate it.

Well Philosophy may be endorsed by some important people “See company description above” after reviewing what they put into some of their products it is not a clear winner to us. For example in their cleanser for the main cleansing ingredient they are using sodium lauryl sulfate, not one of the better foaming ingredients that can be used in a soap. The packaging and names are GREAT, but we are not over the moon because of what is in that packaging.

Our opinion
MD Formulations generally makes good products. The price for this system is very affordable, we are assuming they are trying to compete with some of the major competitors like Proactiv. The kit appears to be a nice mix of cleanser, acne gel moisturizer and sun screen which is a good way to bundle acne products together. We looked at the list of ingredients contained in the individual products list and it was not good. For example the acne gel contains SD Alcohol 40 B, we are assuming it is listed as one of the major ingredients to dry your skin out, but in our opinion treating acne means balancing oil levels on your skin not drying and irritating your skin.
